An imposing integrated amplifier
from UNICO, designed to drive even the most demanding loudspeakers, including electrostatic designs. Delivering 2 x 200 W at 8Ω and up to 2 x 400 W at 4Ω, it features massive power supplies and large heatsinks, offering a level of ease and authority rarely found even in dedicated power amplifiers.
The hybrid design combines a tube input stage with 2 x ECC82 twin triodes and a MOSFET output stage, bringing together the best qualities of tube and solid-state technologies. The result is a natural tonal balance, full-bodied sound across the entire frequency range, and powerful, controlled bass.
The midrange is detailed and smooth, with excellent flow and realism, while the high frequencies are extended, refined, and rich in harmonics with extremely low distortion.
The soundstage is large and three-dimensional, remaining stable even during demanding dynamic passages. Timing and speed are highly accurate, with no forwardness or harsh projection. The overall listening experience is relaxed and suitable for long sessions.
