S9 Integrated Stereo Amplifier
The S9 is a high-end integrated stereo amplifier featuring a single-ended parallel output stage operating in pure Class A. Designed for musical realism and refined tonal performance, it delivers approximately 35 watts per channel with exceptional harmonic richness and natural sound reproduction.
At the heart of the amplifier are SV572 output tubes from the Russian manufacturer Svetlana, widely respected for producing premium vacuum tubes. These directly heated tubes use thoriated tungsten filaments for a warm visual glow and smooth, organic sonic character.
The tubes feature robust hard-glass construction with ceramic bases, while internal ceramic spacers help minimize microphonic effects. A graphite plate with titanium coating provides excellent power handling capability and long-term reliability.
Each output tube is manually bias-adjusted using a precision analog mA meter, allowing accurate calibration and optimized performance. The output transformers are entirely designed and manufactured in-house to maximize the sonic qualities of the SV572 valves.
With a low total negative feedback of approximately 9 dB, the S9 achieves an open and natural sound while maintaining wide bandwidth and low distortion characteristics.
The anodic power supply operates at over 1 kV and is supported by 8,000 µF of filtering capacitance for stable energy delivery. Dedicated filament supplies with Schottky diodes further improve efficiency, stability, and noise performance.
