Ο Primare T23 είναι ένας υψηλής ποιότητας ραδιοφωνικός δέκτης (tuner) με υποστήριξη FM και DAB, σχεδιασμένος για να προσφέρει καθαρή, σταθερή λήψη ραδιοφωνικών σταθμών και προηγμένη ακουστική απόδοση σε hi‑fi συστήματα. Χρησιμοποιεί DSP επεξεργασία σήματος για να φιλτράρει τις FM σταθμούς και να μειώνει τον θόρυβο, παρέχοντας καθαρό ήχο, ενώ RDS εμφανίζει πληροφορίες σταθμών στο γραφικό display. T23 DAB/FM tuner
The T23 is a tri band combined DAB/FM RDS stereo tuner in the digital domain, which means that the tuner uses
DSP-technology to filter out the FM stations giving an extremely clear signal reception.
Intuitive user interface
In keeping with the philosophy of the Primare range of systems, the T23 can be controlled through an intuitive set
of front panel buttons giving you direct access to the most commonly used functions such as tuning, preset, RDS
information and standby. A simple graphic display gives you guidance.
Alternatively, all the functions of the T23 can be controlled by the optional C22 or C32 Remote Controls, along
with the other Primare components in your system.
Although the T23 is flexible enough to work with virtually any other equipment, it integrates beautifully with other
Primare designs such as the Primare I21 or I30 integrated amplifiers. A particular benefit of using the T23 with
other Primare sources is that you can control your entire system with a single remote control.
Circuit topology
The digital audio signal coming out from the tuner is fed into a DIR1703 digital receiver from Burr-Brown, which
further cleans the signal by suppressing jitter and other disturbances. The signal is then converted to analogue by
the famous PCM1738 (Burr-Brown) D/A-converter. The following current to voltage conversion stage consists of
Burr-Brown OPA2134 high performance operational amplifiers and is finished in a single ended output stage
consisting of a single MOSFET transistor together with an active current source instead of the use of passive
resistors.
Clean power
The T23 incorporates a huge R-core transformer with separate windings for all the different power requirements,
such as the display, the analogue audio circuits, the digital circuits and the tuner. Each one of these is individually
regulated in multiple steps to ensure that enough power is constantly available.
The internal mains filter ensures that any high frequency noise that is present on the mains is removed before it
reaches the power transformer. Extensive shielding is used to isolate crucially sensitive parts of the signal transit.
The rigidly regulated power supply and shielding configuration gives the T23 an extremely high signal-to-noise
ratio. This is a signature competence of the brand.
Robust design for operational stability
As with all Primare units, the T23 is housed in an alloy heavy gauge steel chassis, which provides strength,
rigidity, and screening, while being effective at damping vibrations from external sources.
