Το RPM 3 Carbon αξιοποιεί εξελικτικές βελτιώσεις που αναβαθμίζουν συνολικά την απόδοση της σειράς RPM. Το χαμηλού συντονισμού σασί φιλοξενεί ένα ανεστραμμένο έδρανο πλατό με κεραμική μπίλια, μειώνοντας ακόμη περισσότερο το rumble. Ο εξωτερικός κινητήρας AC 15V οδηγείται ομαλά από έναν υπερ-ακριβή γεννήτορα AC με τροφοδοσία DC, εξασφαλίζοντας κορυφαία σταθερότητα στροφών.
Ο βραχίονας 10” σε σχήμα S είναι κατασκευασμένος από ανθρακονήματα, αλουμίνιο και ρητίνη. Μέσω μιας σύνθετης διαδικασίας τριών σταδίων με θερμική επεξεργασία και πίεση 100 bar, αυξάνεται σημαντικά η ακαμψία του, μεγιστοποιείται η εσωτερική απόσβεση και οι συντονισμοί μειώνονται στο ελάχιστο. Έτσι, ο βραχίονας είναι ιδανικός και για κεφαλές MC. Επιπλέον χαρακτηριστικά περιλαμβάνουν μαγνητικό antiskating και αντίβαρο με απόσβεση TPE.
Το RPM 3 Carbon διατίθεται με ή χωρίς κεφαλή Ortofon 2M-Silver. Στη συσκευασία περιλαμβάνεται το εξαιρετικά θωρακισμένο, ημι-συμμετρικό, χαμηλής χωρητικότητας καλώδιο phono Pro-Ject Connect it E.

The entry into the RPM world
RPM 3 Carbon utilises evolutionary enhancements to improve the performance of the RPM series: A low resonance chassis holds an inverted platter bearing with ceramic ball for further reduced rumble. An outboard 15V AC motor is smoothly driven using an ultra precision AC generator with DC power supply for further enhanced speed stability. A 10“ S-shaped tonearm tube is made from carbon fibre, aluminium and resin. Using a complex 3-step process with heat treatment and 100bar pressure, the arm tube rigidity is strenghtened, internal damping is maximized and resonances are reduced to a minimum. This makes the tonearm also suitable for MC cartridges. Additional features are a magnetic antiskating mechanism and a TPE-damped counterweight.
The RPM 3 Carbon is available with or without Ortofon 2M-Silver cartridge. A super shielded, semi-symmetrical, low-capacitance Pro-Ject Connect it E phono cable is included.
