| Description | From time to time, Pro-Ject founder Heinz Lichtenegger invites first-class musicians to perform at the company’s headquarters in Mistelbach, Austria. Wanting to capture one of these concerts authentically, he recorded it on analog tape with minimal microphone placement, live in stereo, without compression or excessive editing. Singer and guitarist 7RAY, a HiFi enthusiast known for contributing to several Hollywood soundtracks, embraced the idea. Alongside the live recordings made at Pro-Ject Headquarters, additional studio sessions were held at Studio Casino Baumgarten in Vienna. The result is a 180-gram, 33 RPM double LP featuring jazz standards performed by 7RAY, Simon Plötzeneder and Triple Ace. |
