Ο Pathos Aurium είναι ένας high-end ενισχυτής ακουστικών που συνδυάζει καθαρό Class A κύκλωμα, λυχνιακό στάδιο προενίσχυσης και MOSFET στάδιο ισχύος για εξαιρετική μουσικότητα, διαφάνεια και δυναμική στην ακρόαση. Διαθέτει 1 ισορροπημένη είσοδο XLR και 3 ασύμμετρες RCA εισόδους line, καθώς και αναλογικές εξόδους TAPE (XLR & RCA) για σύνδεση σε εξωτερικά συστήματα ή bypass. Ο Aurium προσφέρει μέγιστη ισχύ εξόδου έως ~3,6 W @ 16 Ω, εξαιρετικά χαμηλή έξοδο αντίστασης (<0,5 Ω) και ευρύ εύρος συχνοτήτων 10 Hz–80 kHz, με συνολική παραμόρφωση < 0.1% για καθαρό, λεπτομερή ήχο χωρίς κούραση ακρόασης. Η ρύθμιση impedance matching (16–1 000 Ω) καθιστά τον Aurium συμβατό με μεγάλο εύρος ακουστικών. Το στιβαρό αλουμινένιο περίβλημα και ο υψηλής ακρίβειας Burr-Brown attenuator όγκος εξασφαλίζουν ποιοτική εργονομία και σταθερή λειτουργία.

Quality in a compact, lightweight chassis
Aurium is a tube amplifier specifically designed for headphones. Work in pure Class A with zero-feedback.
It consists of:
- one INPUT stage with TAPE OUT to bypass the volume control
- a valve pre-stage in differential configuration
- a volume adjustment stage and a digital controller.
- a MOSFET output stage
- an auto-bias circuit that maintains a constant MOSFET operating point.
Volume
Volume control, a critical component in any amplifier, is handled by a high-precision Burr-Brown device.
A high-class ALPS potentiometer controls the digital volume stage, without interfering with the audio signal.
Safety
Tape-out
Aurium has two “bypass” outputs called TAPE OUT, one XLR and one RCA, which replicate the same signal as the selected input.
Even when Aurium is switched off, the input selector switches remain in operation. The signal is bypassed to the TAPE OUT and it is as if it came directly from the source.
Profit
Using the knob on the rear panel you can select the output gain in the headphones. This gives you the perfect flexibility to use the volume knob on the front panel, avoiding excessive volume.
Craftsmanship
The body of Aurium is obtained by hollowing out a block of solid aluminum, which is then painted.
Aurium is available in different color combinations, to match your system or to best express your personality.
