Η Ortofon 2M Blue Premounted είναι μια κεφαλή για πικάπ, προτοποθετημένη σε headshell SH-4 για εύκολη εγκατάσταση σε βραχίονες τύπου S. Στόχος της είναι να αναπαράγει τον ήχο όσο πιο πιστά γίνεται στο αρχικό ηχητικό όραμα της ηχογράφησης, προσφέροντας πιο καθαρή, αναλυτική και ζωντανή απόδοση του βινυλίου.
Διαθέτει βελόνα nude elliptical και βελτιωμένη ανάλυση σε σχέση με την 2M Red, με πιο ανοιχτό ήχο, καλύτερη λεπτομέρεια και δυναμική.
Η premounted έκδοση κάνει την τοποθέτηση πολύ πιο εύκολη, καθώς έρχεται ήδη ρυθμισμένη πάνω σε headshell για άμεση χρήση.
