The Phono Box S2 Ultra is like no other in its segment. The incredible success of our Phono Box Ultra 500 has led us to introduce this phenomenally sounding phono preamp into our regular S2 line. The solid metal case protects against interference and the internal design remains spectacular as before.

We offer a fully discrete, OpAmp free, design that allows us to achieve an incredibly harmonic sound. In addition, we decided to use polystyrene capacitors, which adds significantly to the high-end sound of the Phono Box S2 Ultra. These capacitors are commonly known in the audiophile scene as a sacred grail for phono preamps. The used split RIAA equalization allows an accurate implementation of the RIAA equalization curve, a luxury feature that many other phono pre-amplifiers do not have.
